We are proud of our high level of personal dance instruction. We offer small class sizes for more individual attention to our students. Our student’s success tells the story about the Academy. The Academy Dance Company consistently wins National, and regional overall top awards. Our student’s technique is the finest in the Pittsburgh area. Our students have been accepted into the Pennsylvania Governors School, received full scholarships to universities and colleges, and have gone on to professional careers in dance and fitness. They also perform for many community service events.
The Academy of Dance by Lori has been growing beautiful dancers for the past 40 years under the direction of Ms. Lori Javornick, artistic director and Ms. Michelle Dawson, co-artistic director. The Academy was developed to bring fun, creative and educational classes to children ages 2 through adult. Our goal is to provide a fun, challenging and nurturing dance program that creates a safe environment where children’s dreams come true! Because we respect our students and their families busy life styles, we offer many different classes and levels of training at the Academy.
