Christopher Robbins was born in South Carolina. He has worked for television and stage shows since he was 5 years old. Chris has worked with artists and choreographers such as Justin Timberlake, Donny and Jimmy Osmond, Darius Rucker, Jennifer Holiday, Kristine W, The Pointer Sisters, Lee Greenwood, Caroline Lewis Jones, Gil Stroming, Adrienne Canterna, Jean Whitaker, Joe Lanteri, Pamela Bolling, Pam Chancey, Kim Wolfe, and Jaime King. He has worked for companies as a choreographer or performer such as Opryland Productions, Gaylord Productions, Victoria’s Secret, Hardrive Productions, Celebrity Cruise Lines, Walt Disney World Productions, and Tokyo Disney Productions. Chris was in The Walt Disney Productions of “Beauty and the Beast” and “Tarzan Rocks.” He has performed in “One” at the Alabama Theatre in Myrtle Beach, SC. Chris has worked for Encore DCS, Dance Masters of America, Dance Troupe Inc., Star Systems, StarPower Talent and Showstopper Dance Competitions. Chris also worked at Club Tango in Charleston, SC, Club Kryptonite , Eighty Eight’s, Club Mykonos, Tunnel UltraLounge, 2001 Nightclub, Broadway at the Beach, Senor Frogs, Zulu Lounge, Pulse Ultra Lounge, and The House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC as a dancer, singer, and choreographer. He was the Ballroom couple winner at “Dancing with the Horry County Stars” televised program in 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2013. Chris has won many awards in national competitions around the US for his choreographies, among them the “Judges Critics Choice Award” at the New York City Dance Alliance. Many of his students have gone on to perform on Broadway, television, movies, Radio City Rockettes, BadBoysofDance, and assistants to NYCDA, Jump, Nuvo, Pulse, CoDance, and WilD faculty.
Presently, Chris works for Encore DCS as MC and sound manager, a teacher and choreographer for the opening number at Nationals for many years around the United States. Chris also worked full time for Hardrive Productions as Production Assistant and Assistant Choreographer to Pamela Bolling where he put up 6 production shows for Celebrity Cruises on The Century and The Galaxy. He casted and directed dancers for House of Blues in Myrtle Beach summer 2011. He also currently works with Dance Masters of America where he taught in Washington D.C. and Orlando, FL for Nationals Convention 2009 and 2011. Chris currently has his Water Safety Instructor’s Liscense and taught/coached swimming for the city of Myrtle Beach and the CAC for over 10 years. Chris is the male swing performer for “Legends in Concert” show in Myrtle Beach based out of Las Vegas from 2007 to current. Chris is a member of Unbound Dance Company owned by Caroline Lewis Jones and Susan Dabney Hancock as of 2009. Chris is now the residing Artistic Director of his professional company E’clatez Dance Company Inc., which can be found on Facebook and YouTube. He choreographed for Victoria’s Secret for the Holiday Show 2013. Chris is currently finished on the movie “1 Chance 2 Dance” filmed in LA as choreographer and playing the role of “Alex.”
